To celebrate the festive season and build my creative portfolio, I am giving away 12 outdoor golden-hour photoshoots to 12 incredible dogs.

Whether your dog is a lap warmer, a hard-working companion or an adorable oldie, I want to capture them being their best selves at one of the stunning locations on offer.

The winner will receive:

  • ONE golden-hour portrait session with Christmas props available on-site if you want to add a festive touch
  • THREE professionally edited web-sized digital images entirely free, chosen by me
  • You will have the option to purchase more photographs from your full gallery if you fall in love with the images! No obligations!

I will be choosing winners across these SIX categories. You can nominate your own dog or tag a friend's dog who would love this as a Christmas present!

  • Senior dogs over 10 years old x2
  • Small dogs x2
  • Working dogs x2
  • Pups under 12 months old x2
  • Rescue Dogs x2
  • Giant dogs over 40kg

Availability

You and your dog must be fully available for your shoot on one of these dates:

26, 27, 29 November, 2026

10, 11, 12, 13 December, 2026

If a winner is not available on these dates, a new winner will be chosen.

Duration

Each shoot lasts for at least 30 minutes, but we can go longer depending entirely on your dog’s comfort level- no rush, no stress!

Locations

Shoots will take place at one of these locations: Piha, Devonport, Mt Roskill, or the Auckland Domain.

Timing

Sessions are strictly at sunrise or sunset.

 

 

FAQ

 

Can I bring multiple dogs or my whole family?

No. The giveaway is strictly limited to one dog per photoshoot.

Can I choose the location?

The specific location and exact time (sunrise or sunset) will be decided entirely by the photographer. If you are selected, I will reach out directly to confirm your booking details. If you aren't available for your assigned slot, the prize will be passed to a runner-up.

What are some other terms & conditions?

Because this is a portfolio-building exercise, the photographer retains full creative direction over the style and types of photos taken. Furthermore, by entering, you agree that all images can and will be used for advertising purposes across the Mustard Bloom Media website and social media channels.

Can we purchase additional images and upgrade to the full gallery?

Absolutely! In addition to the three free web-sized images you will receive, you can definitely upgrade to a package I offer or buy single images or prints from the online store. You will be able to view your gallery before Christmas Eve. The photos in the gallery will be protected by a watermark and are copyright of the photographer. Using any photos without buying them first is illegal.

 

What about cancellations?

 

• If you need to cancel, please give at least 12 hours' notice.

• There are no cancellation fees for either party.

• Please note: If the photographer has to cancel, the shoot will not be rebooked.
